Jaguar Van Paemel BWP x Lazy Dynamite xx
The impressive grey stallion immediately attracts attention with his expressive head and elegant exterior. After watching Jaguar Van Paemel take second at the 6-year-old Belgian Championships, Hap Hansen said "Jaguar has phenomenal technique and a beautiful style with scope to spare. He has a big stride, and moves across the ground with a dignified grace."
In 2012 Jaguar was approved at Studbook Zangersheide. The jury considered him one of the best stallions. Dirk Demeersman showed him at the FEI 1m50 level, and later Aldrick Cheronnet placed well in the1m60 six bar.
Jaguar is also noted by all of his riders and handlers for having an excellent temperament.
Jaguar hails from a classic Belgian family who are noted for their well bred horses : Luc Van Eeckhoudt ( former President of the Belgian Warmblood Association,) Karin Verdeyen of Stoeterij Paemel, and their daughter Kim Borloo. ( They are also the same family that brought Jaguar's sire into the world - the famous producer of great jumpers named Cicero Van Paemel Z) Cicero is 19-years-old, and has close to 300 mares in foal from his 2019 season ! ) Cicero's successes in competition included, among others, his victory in the Grand Prix of Aalst, the first place in the Sires of the World in Mechelen, the victory in Dublin over 2m05, his first World Cup that he jumped clear in Mechelen. 2013 appeared to be his year, with his victory in the small Grand Prix at Antwerp as his first important item. Sadly, 2013 also included a surgery, and Cicero’s sports career ended early.
According to a recent article, “Now Cicero Z still shines in the sport, but this time through his offspring. He has been high on the HorseTelex Rankings for several years now and currently occupies the second place in the B-ranking (for sires with offspring up to fifteen years / at least eighty offspring) and 20th in the A ranking (offspring of all ages / at least one hundred offspring). 177 of his offspring jumped internationally last year - from April 2018 to April 2019.” Cicero offspring possess an unlimited power, a lot of elasticity and a very good attitude.
Jaguar’s mother, Sissi, is a daughter of the Holsteiner stallion Sandro, who performed internationally with Franke Sloothaak, supported by a strong motherline with damsire Argentan, who guarantees an excellent base. This makes a strong mare line, with success in competition.
Jaguar’s siblings and half siblings are doing well as sires and in competition. His first foals have entered the 1.20 & 1.30 levels as six-year-olds with success. He has stallion sons approved in Denmark, Finland, and Belgium.
Jaguar van Paemel’s offspring inherit his beautiful shape and long legs. They are almost always grey in color, kind, and high in blood. Videos of many of Jaguar's offspring in Europe can be seen on his Instagram and his Facebook page : Jaguar van Paemel
Jaguar has just been thoroughly vetted in the United States by the Alamo Pintado Clinic.
Dr. Mark Rick wrote, "Jaguar appears correct conformationally, is athletic in his build, and weighed 1310 pounds, (which he carried very well in his frame.) He was sound at the trot in hand, and on the lounge line in a sand arena. He took the correct leads, was supple and fluid in his gaits and never took an off step."
